I designed the ikat pattern for these napkins in my Brooklyn studio. The fabric was created by weavers in Hyderabad and sewn by a nonprofit women’s empowerment organization in India.

Ikat is an intricate dyeing and weaving technique where artisans tie and dye warp threads, then hand weave them on a loom to create a one-of-a-kind fabric.
